Practice Style

I encourage my clients to use the highest part of themselves, namely their hearts rather than their egos, to resolve their conflicts. By exploring peaceful solutions, the integrity of each member of the family is preserved. I know that separation and divorce can be a catalyst to tremendous personal growth by forcing clients to search for new definitions of themselves. I support my clients' journeys to more congruent and meaningful lives by suggesting personal counselling, workshops and sharing my library of resources on relationships, spirituality and self-help. I am an accredited mediator, a collaborative family lawyer, and I conduct interviews with children

for the purposes of the courts.

Going to court is sometimes an inevitable and necessary part of a client's journey. I litigate in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. Settlement is available and encouraged at every stage in the proceedings. I empower my clients with information, advice and options.
